Our Educational Approach
We place a strong emphasis on safety and implement specific measures to ensure a secure environment and uphold our commitment to protecting every child. We stay continuously informed about safety standards, and our safety policy is reviewed and updated annually-or sooner whenever necessary.
EYFS's Four Guiding Principles
Our curriculum implements all 7 Learning & Development Areas through these core principles:
Every Child is Unique
We recognize that each child has their own way of learning and developing. Our approach celebrates individuality and adapts to each child’s specific needs.
Positive Relationships
Every child can learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships. We foster secure attachments and responsive care to build confidence.
Enabling Environments
Children learn and develop best in enabling environments. We create spaces that respond to their individual needs and support their learning journey.
Learning and Development
Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates. Our curriculum recognizes these differences and ensures appropriate progress across all areas.
The Importance of Play
Play is vital to children’s all-around development. Play is another way through which children can reach their zone of proximal development. Children benefit from play as it allows them to do things beyond what they can do in real life e.g. pretend to drive a car. Play provides opportunities for children to:
Realize their potential and feel competent
Use creativity and imagination
Develop reading, thinking, and problem-solving skills
Develop confidence, self-esteem and a sense of security
Improve motor skills and physical development
Learn to control emotions and understand the world
Build relationship and social skills
Develop values and ethics through interaction
